Midnight blue far above

Others just glimmering

High in the sky
Other galaxies
Cascading
Like fireworks
All around
Shooting Stars
Falling through the atmosphere
Sparking arrows of fire
In its wake
Different time scale
Million light years away

How can I?
All my problems
All my woes
To drag me down.
Why not let a chink
Of sunshine
Seep into my heart
To brighten the gloom.
Let a sunbeam
With mischievous grin
Peep round
The wall of doom.
How can I resist
The fun it brings
My lips begin
To twitch.
Laughter
Spills forth
With wondrous glee
Amazing me.
My spirits lift
The dark clouds roll away
