I am very fortunate to live in a village just outside Stockport called High Lane where it is easy to reach the countryside in one direction and the town in the other.
Being told by friends and relatives that I needed to write my story of recovery I finally put pen to paper and produced my book Winner.
I had been told there was no chance of having children. Ian and I were married 35 years ago proving them wrong by proceeding to have four.
I have a burning desire to give people hope in their own difficult situations. I long to encourage them to believe in their ability to reach their full potential. If I can write a book and publish it with no experience I am sure it is possible for them to gain their heart’s desire.
